Values to Leaven Heavy Times:

A Collaborative Conversation with business and empowerment coach Sarah B Rawz

When: Friday, December 18, 12pm -2pm EST

Where: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83241689944

 Core 1.5/ Resource .5

While values – that is, the ideas that are foundational to an individual’s sense of self – are always integral to our biggest selves and baddest lives, working intentionally with values during this particularly challenging and, for many, triggering time can be a transformative conduit to a greater sense of control and peace for our clients.

Values are like the baking soda of human energy. Without ever being consciously aware of the baker carefully measuring baking soda into the muffin batter, we know instinctively – by look, touch, taste – whether the muffins are airy and light or whether they’re little bricks of pastry better suited as a doorstop than a snack.

Similarly, whether we consciously identify our values or not, we feel enlivened, comforted, ourselves when we live into our values, and uncomfortable and discordant when we live away from our values.

In this program, business and empowerment coach Sarah B Rawz will lead a collaborative conversation about the role we coaches can play in guiding clients toward conscious identification of their most fundamental values and the actions that enliven the values… and, in that way, the clients.

By the end of the 90 minutes, the group will have shared ideas about:

· Identifying opportunities to support clients with values-focused coaching (as a function of creating the coaching agreement, providing intuitive coaching presence and creating awareness)

· Exploring language about values, a word that can be weighted for some people (as a tool of co-creating a trusting client-centered relationship)

· Digging beneath the immediate responses and to the underlying core values (utilizing both active listening and powerful questioning)

· Co-creating the actions that will turn values concepts into meaningful action, fulfilling days, and empowered clients (integral to designing actions, goal setting, and accountability)

Help your clients get grounded during this uncertain time by reaching more deeply and more creatively into their foundational values.
