Biography
Jan’s passion is growing organizations through the development of individuals, teams and leadership staffs. As a 30+ year Global HR leader with GE Healthcare in Milwaukee, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore she collaborated with Global P&L, Region and Functional leaders to provide wing-to-wing HR strategy, coaching and operational support. Highlights included organization launches, Asia Region start-up, acquisition due diligence/ inte-gration, succession planning, talent development, staffing, executive assessments and leadership program management. She holds the GPHR, SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications in human resources.
Jan teaches on a part-time basis at the University of Richmond. She is a graduate Leadership Metro Richmond, Class of 2017, and is an Executive Partner with the Mason School of Business, College of William & Mary. A graduate of Virginia Tech (BS/MA) and Michigan State University (MLIR), Jan recently completed her doctorate at George Washington University.
Jan is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and registered Mentor Coach with the International Coach Federation. With over ten years of coaching experience, she specializes in executive and business coaching, partnering with leaders at all levels from emerging to executive. Additionally, she was a member of the task force that introduced coach training to GE Healthcare’s 5,000 managers globally, and she teaches coaching skills to leaders.
