TITLE: Your Superpowers: Unleashing Strengths for Personal Growth and Team Innovation
    DATE / TIME (TIME ZONE): Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 1pm - 2pm ET

    PRESENTER NAME:
    Amy A. Kessler
CCE BREAKDOWN: .75 CC    0.25 RD
    HOST CHAPTER:  North Florida Chapter
HOST CHAPTER CONTACT NAME: Amanda Connelly

    DESCRIPTION:

Consider how contact lenses help us see the world more clearly. Our combination of talent strengths is like those lenses altering how we see the world around us. These talents tend to come so naturally that we don’t think about it; they are automatic. At our best, we are energized and fulfilled. At our worst, we are depleted and de-energized.

But it’s not enough to know our strengths. We must value our contributions and what others can count on us for. It’s important to understand what conditions, through relationships and tasks, our strengths need to thrive. As leaders, we must also be aware of the strengths of those we lead and collaborate with. Rooted in positive psychology and neuroscience, this knowledge helps us to bring out the best in ourselves and others, maximize productivity and innovation, and foster well-being.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

    • Introduce a preliminary understanding of your Top 5 strengths' role in the unique value each of us brings.

    • Raise self-awareness, and “other awareness,” by focusing on what’s right, rather than fixating on what’s wrong.

    • How overuse (or underuse) of our top strengths leads to our biggest weaknesses.

    SPEAKER BIO:

Amy A. Kessler is in her element when she’s connecting with people, telling stories, and sharing fascinating insights. She has a natural gift for making others feel engaged, appreciated, and entertained all at once. Her passion for creating a sense of belonging stems from her deep belief in the power of CliftonStrengths, which highlights the unique contributions we each bring to our teams, clients, and those we lead. For Kessler, no challenge is too great—there’s always a way forward, and she’s ready to find it.

With over three decades of experience in the corporate world, Kessler’s been captivated by what makes people not just successful leaders, but truly fulfilled in life. She spent the early part of her career in advertising, helping major brands like Gatorade and Miller Brewing Company connect with U.S. Hispanic audiences. Along the way, she earned two coaching certifications— Certified People Acuity Guide and Strengths Strategy Certified Specialist—and has made it her mission to help others discover the ease and immense value of working with a top-notch executive coach. A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, she’s a firm believer in the lifelong power of learning and growth.

Recognizing the need for a single, reliable source of vetted top-tier coaches who share a unified approach, Kessler founded Potentia Coaches. Busy leaders turn to her when they need to be paired with the ideal coach—someone who can guide them or their teams to success. Potentia offers a global cadre of strengths-based executive coaches, eliminating the headache of trying to find the perfect fit. Amy doesn’t just make the connection; she ensures the coaching relationship is fruitful and enriching. “Potentia,” rooted in Latin, speaks to potential, strength, and power—the key ingredients, in Kessler’s view, for fulfillment both at work and in life.

Coaching for Social Justice (CSJ) emerged in response to the national reckoning on race and equity following George Floyd’s murder in 2020. Bringing together a diverse group of leadership coaches, CSJ pioneered a collective learning model focused on real-life DEIJB challenges in coaching practice. The organization has since developed one of the first supervision programs dedicated to social justice in organizational coaching, offering both group and individual formats. Backed by experienced supervisors and recognized as a tax-exempt non-profit.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

His commitment is not only to personal but also societal transformation and sees coaching as a way of promoting the common good.

    Jonathan Sibley (Director)

Jonathan is a founding board member of Coaching for Social Justice and is a Master Corporate Executive Coach. As a coaching supervisor, he holds a space that is safe enough to do the sometimes-challenging work of helping coaches to see what we haven't been seeing and, at times, to feel what we haven't been feeling. As a White, cis-gender male, Jonathan is committed to using his privilege to make a difference in the field of coaching and with organizational clients.

    Judy Wolf (Director)

Judy Wolf is an EMCC- and ICF-accredited executive and team coach, coach supervisor, and DEIB facilitator. PRESENTER NAME:
    Lyssa deHart
    CCE BREAKDOWN: 1.0 CC
HOST CHAPTER:  San Francisco Bay Area Chapter
HOST CHAPTER CONTACT NAME: Dina Venezky

    DESCRIPTION:

This presentation explores two coaching capacities that shape the quality of the entire conversation: Agreement Setting and Presence. And, how these elements of coaching increase partnering in a coaching conversation. We will look at how a clear, co-created agreement helps both the coach and the thinker get oriented to what matters, why it matters, and what would make the conversation useful. From there, we will explore presence, as the coach’s ability to stay grounded, curious, responsive, and connected to the thinker. Along the way, we will touch on bias, cognitive load, self-regulation, and co-regulation, and why these matter if we want coaching to support the thinker to do the work of creating the dots, connecting the dots, and owning the dots.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

    • How a strong agreement gives the conversation direction.
    • How presence helps the coach stay in real partnership.
    • And, why insight is stronger when the thinker does the work.

    SPEAKER BIO:

Lyssa deHart is a Master Certified Coach, clinical social worker, and author who loves exploring how stories shape who we become. A self-described “recovering therapist,” she brings a mix of neuroscience, metaphor, and deep listening to her work with leaders and coaches around the world. Lyssa has written books StoryJacking, the Reflective Coach, and Light Up: The Science of Coaching with Metaphors, Sticky Outcomes: at the Intersection of Coaching, Neuroscience, and Lasting Impact, and she hosts the Coaching Studio Podcast, where she digs into real conversations about growth, change, and the human experience. CCE BREAKDOWN: 1.5 CC
    HOST CHAPTER:  San Antonio Chapter
HOST CHAPTER CONTACT NAME: Cristy Lime

    DESCRIPTION:

Most coaches believe they're already good listeners. Research shows we process information four times faster than people speak — and our minds naturally wander, judge, or prepare responses rather than truly absorbing what's being communicated.

Drawing directly from ICF Core Competency 6 (Listens Actively) and supporting Competency 5 (Maintains Presence), this highly interactive session challenges coaches to expand their listening repertoire and develop agility to adapt their approach to what each unique client needs in the moment.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

    • Identify their own listening style and default listening patterns
    • Understand how to flex between listening habits for greater coaching effectiveness
    • Gain tools to transform their listening and become more effective communicators

    SPEAKER BIO:

Martha Tween is a PCC · Global Listening Intelligence Certified Coach · Gallup Certified Strengths and an ICF Professional Certified Coach,

Mentor Coach, and ECHO Global LQ Certified Coach specializing in Listening Intelligence. Through Sapere Vedere Consulting she helps coaches develop listening flexibility using the ECHO framework, with deep expertise in ICF Core Competencies 5 and 6.

    DESCRIPTION:

As a Master Mentor Coach and ICF Assessor at all three levels, Tijen has seen firsthand that one of the biggest challenges for coaches is the agenda-setting process. It's easy to get caught on the surface of a client's request and miss the deeper need.

This meeting is designed to help you move beyond surface-level structure to the core of where true transformation resides. Using Tijen’s Genco Method Coaching with Precision© framework, which blends holistic listening with Lean/Six Sigma principles, you'll learn to sculpt an agenda with precision and presence.

This three-part, interactive session will provide you with the tools to help clients achieve their desired outcomes, from behavioral change to neural recalibration, ensuring that these outcomes are not only achievable but also resonant and sustainable.

    What to Expect:

    • Introduction to Genco Method Coaching with Precision©: We'll dive into the core principles of my integrative methodology for agenda setting.
    • Collective Coaching Practicum: Watch and participate in a live coaching session. Under my mentorship, you'll practice shaping the agenda in real-time and get instant feedback.
    • Integration & Reflection Circle: We'll close with a group dialogue to solidify your insights and learn how to apply them to your practice immediately.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

    • Heightened awareness of common missteps that block deep listening and client-centered agenda development.
    • Best practices for defining session outcomes based on the client’s authentic, underlying needs.
    • Increased capacity to revise and evolve the agenda in alignment with the client’s emerging insights.

    CCE BREAKDOWN: 1.0 CC
    HOST CHAPTER:  North Florida Chapter
HOST CHAPTER CONTACT NAME: Amanda Connelly

    DESCRIPTION:

Most coaches ask questions to gather information or show active listening. But the right question can do much more - unlock breakthroughs, spark action, and align clients with their deepest values.

In this masterclass, renowned coach Laura Berman Fortgang reveals how to turn questioning into a powerful art form, blending insights from psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral change. You'll learn how strategic inquiry can create profound shifts in thinking, feeling, and action.

      WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

      • The Neuroscience of Questions: Discover how transformational questions rewire the brain, unlock creativity, and break limiting beliefs.
      • The Question Hierarchy: Move from surface-level queries to deep, transformational questions that inspire action and alignment.
      • Advanced Techniques: Master the Challenge Frame, Solution-Finding Method, Values Excavation, and Resistance Dissolution techniques.
      • Practical Applications: Apply strategic inquiry in coaching, leadership, team building, business development, and personal relationships.

      SPEAKER BIO:

Laura calls herself an OG coach since she has over thirty years of experience, had the first book by a professional coach published in the US and the UK and helped to found the International Coaching Federation. She was also the first coach on the Oprah Winfrey Show!

Her life’s work supports other people to find theirs and join the A-List of life. No, she doesn't mean becoming a celebrity, but does mean not settling for anything less than the best you want to reach for.

Her Now What?® Methodology for career seekers and A-List Business Mentoring Program for entrepreneurs helps those who are:

      • ready to take the back burner dream and put it on the front burner
      • unclear about what you want to do or have never known
      • reinventing after a life hiccup
      • a coach ready for your next level of impact and income
