Biography
I officially began my career as a Professional Coach and Speaker in 2004 when I transitioned from a successful 18 year career in health care administration. It has been an extraordinary journey for when you work in the sphere of transformation it transforms you in ways you cannot foresee.
As a coach and a coachee, I know that the coaching process has amazing influence in empowering individuals and organizations to realize their potential by letting go of what is not working, leveraging what is, and embracing new ways of being and doing. I refer to this as the Journey to Extraordinary. As I frequently say, “coaching removes the “but” in a sustainable way".
More specifically, I work with individuals in career and life transitions and in developing their leadership skills; and with organizations in strategic planning and leadership/team development.
I incorporate a variety of tools including the DiSC assessment, Thomas Kilmann conflict model, values assessments, breathing and mindfulness techniques, and incorporate the principles of neuroplasticity and change management. I am certified in Team Advantage, a program that accelerates the performance of teams while shifting their culture.
Perhaps most importantly, I bring my full presence to my clients to hear the spoken and unspoken, ask the empowering questions that create the “aha moments” , as I encourage them to follow through with their identified actions and celebrate their success.
In all days, I am grateful for the privilege to work in this continuously evolving profession, and the myriad of opportunities to strengthen my courage muscle for
“Courage is the apostrophe that makes impossible I’m possible.”
