Biography
Neuroscientist - Executive & Team Coach - Connection & Belonging Catalyst
I apply my PhD in Neuroscience, and my C-suite, and B-corp founder's experience toward coaching and advising executives and their leadership teams. I also advise early-stage, venture-backed start-ups on establishing a performance culture through evidence-based strategies.
I am passionate about educating coaches and leaders on the neuroscience behind complex human experiences like burnout and recovery, loneliness and connection, and other evidence-based strategies to enhance wellbeing while building supportive cultures and communities.
I am a former c-suite leader and co-founder of MakeOurFuture, a global consulting cooperative fostering regenerative human systems and healthy workplace cultures.
I have taught vaccine inventors, medical and military teams, brain surgeons, rocket scientists, and mere mortals who want to be better-informed, effective executives, managers and leaders. A former academic, my award-winning, peer-reviewed research focuses on leaders' behavior, employee experience and return on investment (ROI) to drive performance.
I earned my PhD in neuroscience at the University of Virginia and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuro-behavioral development and plasticity at the UVa Health Science Center.
