Direct Communication
“Saying what is so”…what’s so difficult about that? However, this core competency is often difficult for coaches, especially newer coaches. Perhaps you don’t want to be perceived as mean or you don’t want to step on your clients’ toes or you’re afraid you would be leading or giving advice. So, don’t be shy. If you’re having trouble with this one you’re in good company. Let’s examine it together and learn the positive power of it and how to do it. It is rather easy, once you get the hang of it…and…the effect is profound. Onward and forward with direct communication!
