The first step is getting clear on why we’re offering coaching, then comfortable selling ourselves and talents. In this program, focused on building the coaching business, we will shape, expand, and perfect our personal branding statements as coaches.
Being confident in that “sweet spot” that we offer is the key to getting and keeping clients and future business, whether you are an internal corporate coach or work independently as a sole practitioner.
In addition, coaches become our best advocates. Who’s better at selling coaching services than us- coaches? This session offers an opportunity for coaches to learn more about fellow coach’s strengths and offerings, so that new business development relationships can be formed for reciprocal exchanges.

About the presenter:
Karen Gulliford, ACC is co-partner of Cultivate Coaching and Consulting, LLC, an executive coaching consortium, designed to bring individual and group coaching to leaders in organizations. Karen’s previous experience includes human resources management, consulting, talent management, training and career transition coaching.
Karen’s diverse industry experience includes retail, publishing, law, healthcare, financial institutions, and non-profits. Karen holds a M.Ed. in Adult Learning with a concentration in Human Resources Development from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and is the current Director of Business Development and Outreach for ICFVA.
