Presenter: Wendy Swire, PCC
Drawing upon the latest research in neuroscience, Wendy Swire’s highly interactive presentation will provide knowledge about how the brain resists change (relying on our default settings) and tools to motivate and create new positive habits through neuroplasticity (how to teach an old brain new tricks) to stay focused, calm and present.
Wendy will share her practical insights to better understand human brain functions and provide tips on how to minimize Cognitive Capacity Overload (CCO) and maximize our coaching presence and awareness.
During the interactive session, she will ask for real world examples from attendees to enhance learning and ensure discussion. Wendy is an expert at explaining the most essential aspects of brain science and providing critical nuggets of information.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will come away from the session with 3-5 specific neuroscience insights immediately applicable to developing coaching presence;
2. Participants will learn about their 2 Brain Systems and how to utilize this information with coaching clients with greater coaching presence and expanded client awareness.
3. Participants will gain practical neuroleadership tools and information -- such as 3SC, impact of neuroplasticity -- not only for themselves but to share with clients. These techniques that will help better manage cognitive capacity overload (CCO) and stress, including an interactive exercise.
