Topic: LIFE IS A SERIES OF COURSE CORRECTIONS
Description:
When someone makes a change- expected or not- they experience a loss. Whether large or small, there is a grieving process- whether they recognize it or not. Processing this loss emotionally is an important part of a person to be able to move forward.
Whenever changes happen, a transition also takes place since change is external and transition is internal- the personal side of change. Understanding what is gone and what is not, what one has to reinvent or let go of is also key to moving forward.
And job loss is a very different loss than any other type of loss. The dynamics also change depending on where one is in their job/career path.
Come learn strategies to better help your participants (and also likely yourself) as the world quickly changes the next steps in our life and career paths.
In this session, we will:
ü Learn the William Bridges Transition Model™.
ü Discuss how the transitions relate to coaching in general and your coaching.
ü Review the Job Loss Reaction Cycle™.
ü Discuss how the impact of job loss is at different stages of a person’s life and job/career path.
