The profession of coaching is expanding and evolving substantially year-over-year; with that our understanding of the bounds of ethics is continuously challenged and adapting. The ICF has created the Team Coaching Competencies which work distinctly but in concert with 1:1 Coaching Competencies. As an internal coach, balancing these structures amidst your existing role is not a small task. As an external coach, you are asked by complex organizations to support in ways that quickly cross beyond a single modality intervention. Most teams will require a mix of Team Development Modalities along with individualized coaching and development. In a world of complex needs and working relationships with clients (internal or external), how do you navigate the ethical boundaries?

Outcomes of the session:
- Explore, in a contextually relevant manner, the ethical considerations of coaching individuals and teams from the lens of internal or external practitioner

- Consider scenarios that challenge standard ethical thinking as the field of coaching continues to expand.
