Biography
Angela Edwards is the Chief Project Management Geek and Founder of Castle Thunder Consulting. With 20 years of experience of managing difficult and impossible projects, Angela can show business owners how to apply project management principles to bring organization to chaotic processes, projects, and environments. Project Management isn’t just a profession, it’s a mindset that can be applied to help anyone identify, understand, and address key tasks in a methodical and practical manner.
Angela graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also earned multiple graduate degrees from Strayer University, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Information Technology. Her professional certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Six Sigma Black Belt.
Angela serves the community as the PMI Educational Foundation Liaison, providing project management education and support to local non-profit organizations. She also serves as the Communications Director for the National Speakers Association – Virginia Chapter. Angela is an active member of the Project Management Institute (Central Virginia Chapter), National Speakers Association, US Figure Skating, and Toastmasters International.
