Ethics Facilitated Discussion
1.5 Core CCEU
Engaging with the ICF Code of Ethics
As coaches we come face to face with ethical decisions as we support our clients in their journeys – and the ICF has equipped us with a code of ethics that is foundational to our craft.
Beginning in 2016, ICF Credential-holders are required to demonstrate completion of at least three (3) Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units.
Whether you hold an ICF credential or not, our chapter is here to support our members in navigating the coaching ethics landscape, as well as providing an engaging, facilitated discussion to meet your ICF credentialing CCE requirements for ethics. During this session, you will actively engage with other participants in the exploration of the ICF code of ethics as we discuss real scenarios that require us to call upon the code of ethics.
In the session you will:
• Actively engage with the ICF code of ethics
• Review and discuss situational case studies
• Leverage experiences and learnings from colleagues
This session will be hosted and led by ICF Va Chapter board members, including Alexa Beavers, Petra Platzer & Amy Gamblin.
