You might have heard that "networking" is an effective way to get clients. But you either dread doing it or it hasn't produced a good ROI for you.  That's because you haven't learned the right mindset and skills around effective networking.

Our two facilitators/coaches for this meeting, Lisa Smith and Anna Goldenberg, will share their experience and expertise with networking--both the skillset and the mindset.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Finding the best events to attend
  2. How to be in the right frame of mind when going to a networking event
  3. How to prepare and refine your networking skills
  4. How to effectively follow up after you leave the event to secure more coaching clients or opportunities

Lisa Smith, owner of The Coaching Center for MindTraining Success, is certified as a Master Hypnotherapist, Coach, and NLP and EFT Practitioner.  She focuses on performance improvement coaching and training for individuals, businesses, and groups through neuroscience techniques.  Lisa is unofficially dubbed a "networking queen" in the Hampton Roads area. She will share how to find the best networking events for you to attend (you MUST be selective) and a new way to think about networking, called "Connect-working" (a phrase she coined), which allows you to have a sense of ease and enjoyment about your networking experience.

Anna Goldenberg, ACC, principal of TrueImpact Coaching, LLC, is a certified coach, organizational consultant, and leadership trainer with more than thirty years of senior executive experience in the nonprofit industry. She develops tailored coaching and training programs that meet the unique needs of individuals and organizations to achieve transformative results. Anna will share how emotional and conversational intelligence can help you get the most out of your networking experience.
