When does a client need to be referred to someone else? This question is often asked by new and old coaches alike, and furthermore, is a skill each ICF coach is expected to master as stated in the first Core Competency. Join the Ethics Community of Practice for a discussion centered on the proper way and time to make a referral to another professional. During this seminar, we will examine:

• How to best identify when a client needs to be referred to another professional,
• Typical scenarios where a client exhibits needs other than coaching,
• Resources for referrals, and
• Distinguishing the line between coaching and therapy.

**This program qualifies for 1.0 CCEU in Core Competency and is eligible for 1 hour of the Ethics requirement.
