Presentation Title: Creativity and Empowerment Coaching Using the Zentangle Method

The Zentangle© Method is a fun and simple way to create beautiful abstract art, using repeating patterns called tangles. You create tangles using a combination of 5 shapes – dots, lines, C and S-curves, and imperfect circles – you can create hundreds of tangle patterns. Zentangle art is non-representational, so you can focus on each mark and not worry about the result. Not knowing what the final product will look like frees you from expectations. Once you know the method, you will likely enjoy increased focus, creativity, self-confidence and an increase sense of well-being.
Sacil Armstrong is a Creativity & Empowerment Coach with art & being. She has over 25 years of experience with facilitation, community engagement, creativity, and a lifetime of intuitive awareness. She specializes in personal coaching using art, successfully serving clients from 8 to 98 years old, as well as groups, organizations, and corporate teams.
Her clients tame their anxiety, recognize stress triggers, and gain confidence as they practice being present explore their own creativity. Her art has been featured in several books, including The Beauty of Zentangle and 500 Tangled Artworks.
