ICF Virginia Coaching Excellence Awards

The 2024 ICF Virginia Coaching Excellence Awards present a unique opportunity to recognize the exceptional contributions of coaches and organizations in Virginia. This program will not only celebrate excellence but also promote the value of coaching, foster community, and enhance the visibility of the ICF Virginia Chapter.

AWARD CATEGORIES

ORGANIZATIONS (up to 5 awards)
Celebrate businesses and organizations that have cultivated robust coaching cultures and showcase the transformative impact of coaching. ICF Virginia honors today’s pioneering business leaders who prioritize their employees' workplace experiences, recognizing that this commitment drives both personal and organizational growth. These leaders are shaping the future of work through coaching.

     Distinguished Organization:
     A Virginia-based company or organization that exemplifies a strong coaching culture and demonstrates significant positive impacts
     through coaching.

     Emerging Organization:

     A Virginia-based company or organization recognized for the impressive impact of their emerging coaching program, chosen based on
     the coaching program’s effectiveness and duration.

PROFESSIONAL COACHES (up to 5 awards)
Honor individual coach practitioners who have made significant contributions to the coaching profession within Virginia. These awards recognize the exceptional impact these coaches have had on their clients and the broader coaching community.

     Distinguished Coach:
     Esteemed coach practitioners who have made a lasting impact on ICF and the coaching profession. Candidates must hold an active ICF  
     Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential and have been ICF Virginia members for at least two years.

     Accomplished Coach:
     Influential coach practitioners who have significantly contributed to the coaching profession within Virginia. Candidates must hold an
     active ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential and have been ICF Virginia members for at least two years.

     Emerging Coach:
     Promising coach practitioners poised to lead the future of coaching within Virginia. Candidates must hold an active ICF Associate
     Certified Coach (ACC) credential and have been ICF Virginia members for at least two years.

COACHING EDUCATION (up to 3 awards) Recognize outstanding coach educators and ICF-accredited providers who lead and innovate in coaching education. These awards celebrate excellence in teaching and the development of new coaching methodologies.

     Distinguished Coaching Education Provider:
     A Virginia-based ICF-accredited coaching provider exhibiting the highest standard of excellence in the profession. The provider must have
     been accredited by ICF for at least two years.

     Distinguished Coach Educator:

     An exceptional coach or instructor who demonstrates outstanding leadership and moral character in coaching education. Candidates
     must be ICF Virginia members for at least one year and affiliated with an ICF-accredited provider for at least two years.

     Emerging Coach Educator:

     A promising coach or instructor demonstrating excellence and leadership in coaching education. Candidates must be ICF Virginia
     members for at least two years and affiliated with an ICF-accredited provider for at least two years.

SOCIAL EXCELLENCE (up to 2 awards)
Recognize individuals and organizations making profound societal contributions through the application of coaching principles. This category celebrates those who use coaching to create lasting positive change in their communities.

     Distinguished Coaching Catalyst:
     Influential Virginia leaders and organizations who act as catalysts for change, exemplifying a coaching mindset in their leadership,
     decision-making, and community engagement.

     Emerging Coaching Catalyst:

     Social impact leaders and organizations in Virginia doing exceptional work, often without widespread recognition, who are driving
     significant social change through coaching.

NOMINATION PROCESS

  • Nomination Period: January 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024
  • Submission Deadline: October 15, 2024 at 12:59 pm EST
  • Notification to Winners: By November 8, 2024 via email
  • Awards Ceremony: December 4, 2024 at 10:00 am EST (In-Person and Virtual)



    Nominations are open to all ICF Virginia members and Virginia-based organizations.
